Role: Regional Sales Manager

Location: London & South East

Pay rate/Salary: Base Salary £36k to £40k + Bonus Available

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday

Type: Permanent – Office/Field based

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our growing Sales Team.

We have a position based in the Southeast covering the S East and London.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the development of existing and new accounts in your agreed geographical area. The role requires the Area Sales Manager to be responsible for the effective motivation and development of their customer base, to achieve sales, margin, and new business targets across all product fields.

As an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and reviewing customer performance
  • Support and development of current customer base to their full potential
  • Ensure delivery of individual sales targets
  • Preparing and executing a plan for new business
  • Develop and maintain relationships with specifiers and Consultants.

The ideal Area Sales Manager candidate will:

  • Be an experienced area sales manager with previous background of Electrical Wholesale and Local Authority requirements, minimum of 2 years experience required. The salary range is £36,000 - £40,000 DOE
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, where resilience and persistence are required.
  • Be able to motivate themselves and be driven to exceed targets
  • Full understanding of business development process, from prospect through to account retention and growth, with a proven track record of this.
  • Proficient IT skills across Microsoft Office and preferably with good knowledge and use of CRM system(s)
  • Management qualifications would be desirable.
  • Full driving licence
