This will be involve interacting with architects, distributors, contractors and supply chain customers within the London territory.Responsibilities• Create demand via specification for the product portfolio and system solutions to increase growth.• Hunt out new opportunities with targets in mind and implement a key account sales plan.• Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure that orders are fulfilled to the highest standard.• Manage and maintain a current project listing to ensure that a forecast can be provided.• Deliver training presentations and support promotional events to increase business opportunities.• Develop and maintain in depth knowledge of market, competitors and sector. • Develop a relationship with customers and gain an understanding of the customers needs and wants. • Utilise the CRM and ensure that it is kept up to date.• Work closely with the external sales team to maximise the closure of opportunities.• Complete and submit sales reports and ensure that forecasting is up to date on a monthly basis as part of your administration.• Maintain a detailed customer portfolio and pipeline.• Deliver training presentation to user groups and follow up activities to help aid winning new opportunities. • Attend events and exhibitions. The Person• Proven track record within a sales role within the façade or similar industry.• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to challenge and influence positively.• Ability to present to customers and colleagues and proven track record of doing this.• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage at all levels- both written and verbal.• Happy to travel around the Northwest region- areas covered include Liverpool, Manchester & Leeds. • Logical approach to planning• Ability to cope well under pressure and work to deadlines.• Pro-active and results orientated. • Self-motivates and have a can do' attitude.
