Who You'll Be Working for: High technology manufacturer and distributor.
Sales - Assistant Manager (Manufacturing) - What You'll be Doing Each Day:
Management of all sales functions for individual customers in Europe, in close co-ordination with the Head of Sales and Applications Engineering team as well as colleagues worldwide.
Sales - Assistant Manager (Manufacturing) - Responsibilities:
- Direct communication with customers to develop existing business including any new opportunities as the key window between the customer and the company.
- Collection of information from the customer to assist in strategy development and implementation in co-ordination with offices worldwide as part of global account management teams. This should include proposals on appropriate pricing.
- Provision of quotations to customers.
- Co-ordination with Supply Chain Department to ensure appropriate support.
- Co-ordination with Applications Engineering to implement strategies and solve any issues for individual accounts.
- Preparation of presentations and co-ordination of customer meetings including organization of travel requirements.
- Preparation of forecasts and budgets based on all available knowledge.
- Preparation of periodically required reports.
- Investigation and development of potential new accounts as required.
Sales - Assistant Manager (Manufacturing) - Skills you'll need to succeed:
- Experience in a Sales/Account Management role that is in a Technical, Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
- Fluency in the English language with strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to present materials in front of an audience.
- Engineering qualifications or experience.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills including strong active listening skills.
- Ability / availability to travel extensively.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
