Sales Manager, permanent, Film and Media production Co, London, £45,000-£60,000 plus uncapped commission

Fast growing video and content publishing company with plush London and International offices is looking for a Sales Manager/Lead. This company has an International client base and produces in excess of 400 films per year for leading brands. They also promote the advancement of global matters through their campaigns.

In this role as Sales Manager you will ensure your individual and the team’s targets are achieved. You will start by building your own desk, closing deals and leading by example. After 6 months there is a fast track promotion opportunity to lead your own small team and grow the team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Sales Director and the CEO to ensure that sales targets are hit and results delivered
  • Sourcing potential new business avenues, identifying and developing new B2B business opportunities across the globe through market research and networking
  • Working with, and speaking to, decision makers, using your negotiating skills and building professional relationships
  • Achieving sales targets monthly, quarterly, and revenue targets annually
  • After 6 months, the opportunity to lead a small Sales team, motivating and growing that team

Skills and qualities you will have:

  • 5+ years previous sales experience (preferably with some in media/ subscriptions)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing sales professionals
  • A proven track record of success in a B2B sales role across a variety of different projects and industry sectors
  • High level negotiation skills and the ability to sell to C Suite decision makers
  • A highly organised approach to developing partnerships with an interest in news and current affairs
  • Ability to think innovatively and constantly challenge - striving for commercial success at all times with a wider understanding of how International events can affect the business world
  • Polished written, telephone, and face-to-face communication skills
  • A growth mindset - you're always looking to better yourself
  • An enthusiasm for the media and content creation sector
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up style environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and Linked In
  • Exceptional written and verbal English language skills
  • Confidence and adaptability plus self-motivation and ambition to succeed
