Steele Charles are delighted to be working in partnership with a new client on this, a dynamic Sales Manager vacancy within the food industry. 

This is a new role, which has been created in line with the continued growth of this exciting ambient food brand. If you're looking for your first step into Sales Management or are already a Sales Manager or a NAM and want to join a business where you can really make a difference and contribute to growth this is the role for you. 

This will be based on a hybrid directive, with the particulars yet to be decided but the expected split is one day per week on site. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mainly responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Should be organized and able to analyze performance metrics.
  • Have good negotiation skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and align bull selling activities accordingly.
  • Build market understanding of key commodity areas working alongside the internal procurement team to provide insight to external customers.

KEY TASKS:

  • Deliver, set and monitor sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success
  • Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring customers’ requirements are met
  • Identify and attract prospective strategic customers
  • Collect and analyse sales data and trends
  • Liaise with Sales and Marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products and offerings

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • Proven work experience as a Bulk/Industrial Sales Manager or National Account Manager
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting clients requirements
  • In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
