Sales Operations – Business DevelopmentAn excellent opportunity has arisen with a global commodities trading organisation for a Business Development professional. The role will focus on sales operations including strategic planning, management information, marketing to support client development.   • Analysis of YTD sales alongside the five-year plan to support focused and strategic growth of the FIP business
  • Through regular meetings with management and global trading teams support in identifying and linking objective and key results for global alignment and strategic focus
  • Preparation of presentation material for management meetings
  • Regularly liaising with product leads to identify challenges and support in the development of growth strategies
  • Liaising with clients, developing relationships, and delivering marketing presentations
  • Development of product knowledge in order to generate ideas for marketing and revenue growth
  • Understanding and mapping of personnel requirements for the business – identifying gaps to ensure product and geographical coverage
  • To take responsibility for your performance and to work together to achieve our organizational goals
  • To attend training courses which are identified as being necessary for the performance of the role
Skills and Experience:
  • Experienced within a simlaur position providing strategic business development and operational responsibilities 
  • Business level fluency in English (both written and verbal)
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Strong I.T. skills including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter with the ability to use initiative for problem solving
  • Resourceful, innovative, and proactive
  • Personable with the ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels both internally and externally
Desirable:
