Ryder Reid Legal is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join the team of one of our global law firm clients at their Abu Dhabi office. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving the strategic plan for the Abu Dhabi office and the broader Middle East region, collaborating closely with the Dubai office and international teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategic plan for the Abu Dhabi office and the Middle East region.
- Promote the office internally and externally, facilitating information sharing and collaboration.
- Identify opportunities to offer new or enhanced services to attract high-value work.
- Develop and implement business and action plans for lawyers and practice groups.
- Assist in preparing proposals, RFPs, and presentations, and track pitch outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Communications Team on profile-raising activities.
- Prepare legal directory submissions and utilize marketing technology tools.
- Track and maintain transactions and cases for proposals and marketing materials.
- Ensure marketing materials are regularly updated.
- Identify and coordinate conferences, seminars, forums, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities.
- Develop and distribute brochures, advertisements, newsletters, and client mailings.
- Plan and execute events and manage client development expenses and budget.
- Facilitate regular communication and updates between Middle East practices and offices.
- Disseminate research and industry updates to lawyers.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and service orientation.
- Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in a marketing-related field; advanced degree a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably within a law firm environment.
