This senior role is integral to shaping the organisation's voice, enhancing brand presence and reputation, and engaging key stakeholders, including members, partners, and the creative community. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute impactful brand campaigns, manage external communications, and elevate the organisation's reputation in the creative industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy & Management: Collaborate with the Marketing Director to define and implement the brand strategy, ensuring alignment with our mission, vision, and values. Champion brand consistency across all communication channels and touchpoints.
  • Communications Planning: Develop and manage integrated communication strategies to promote initiatives, programs, and awards. Tailor communications to engage target audiences, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging.
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Lead a team of creatives to deliver compelling content across digital, social, audio, and print platforms. Ensure content planning aligns with organisational goals and resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Campaign Development & Management: Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, managing budgets, timelines, and resources. Collaborate with performance experts to measure and optimise campaign impact and ROI.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor a team of in-house and freelance creatives, fostering a collaborative environment. Work with various teams to support organisational goals.
  • PR & Thought Leadership: Position the organisation as an authority in the creative industry through thought leadership content, speaking engagements, and industry events.
  • Event Marketing: Develop strategies to promote events, driving awareness and attendance. Report on event performance and optimise for future events.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay updated on marketing trends and best practices to maintain the organisation's leadership in creativity and marketing.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, serving as the primary contact for media inquiries and external communications.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior brand and communications role.
  • Expertise in developing and executing comprehensive brand and communications strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the creative industry and organisational objectives.
