Senior Business Development Manager - £75,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £115,000 in Year 1, £140,000 in Year 2 and more after!).

Offering a very generous and uncapped commission structure, our client is now seeking to add to their London based Sales team by recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager for EMEA to sell into Buy Side & Sell Side Companies across EMEA.

About the role of Senior Business Development Manager

Joining an ambitious, hungry sales team based in the heart of Central London and learning from experienced Sales Professionals you will be responsible for:

  • Selling subscriptions & data licenses of our client’s award-winning online data, news and intelligence platform to senior level targets within buy side & sell side prospects including: Investment Banks, Bond Issuers, Corporates, Government Institutions, PE Firms, Hedge Funds & Trading Houses.
  • Utilising your business acumen & sales skills, you will be responsible for the full sales business cycle, from identifying key targets, delivering online demonstrations to matching their focus with our client’s services, through to pricing negotiations & closing.
  • You will become an integral part of the sales team, aiming to maximise opportunities within your territory to further grow your client base
  • In addition to your office-based sales responsibilities, you may occasionally be expected to attend external meetings events to see clients for networking purposes

About You

  • 4+ years demonstrable experience in FinTech Sales / Financial Software Sales with experience of selling to Buy Side and / or Sell Side Institutions
  • Exceptional prospecting and closing skills
  • Experience of presenting face to face and via online demonstrations
  • Knowledge of financial service markets or derivatives would be a bonus
  • Pipeline building, management and forecasting
  • User of sales methodology such as Challenger, Spin Selling or MEDDICC
