They deliver training across all four nations of the UK, supporting over 7,000 active apprentices. Recognised as a trusted leader in the field, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join their team. Role: Senior Business Development Manager
  • Location: Remote-based, with occasional travel (all mileage covered)
  • Salary: £55,000 + OTE
This exciting, brand-new vacancy is perfect for apprenticeship experts with a proven track record of winning apprenticeship contracts with large levy-paying organisations. ResponsibilitiesBusiness Opportunity Identification:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with large levy employers in key service sectors, including Hospitality, Retail, Care, Business Services, and Childcare.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential clients.
Client Engagement:
  • Plan, organise, and manage prospect meetings with key stakeholders to understand client needs and establish relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure continued business growth.
 KPIs / Key Deliverables
  1. Revenue and Growth Targets:
    • Identify and develop new sales opportunities in line with the sales strategy.
    • Support the new business target set for April 2025.
  2. Lead Generation and Conversion:
    • Generate five qualified leads per month in the targeted service sectors.
    • Achieve a lead-to-client conversion rate of 80%.
  3. Tender and Proposal Success:
    • Maintain a proposal success rate of [Insert Percentage]% for all submitted tenders.
    • Submit [Insert Number] successful tenders per quarter, aligned with business objectives.
  4. Pipeline Management:
    • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
    • Ensure accuracy in sales pipeline forecasts and reporting.

Salary & Benefits
