We are working with a leading management consultancy specialising in energy and sustainability solutions, recognised for their work with high-profile clients across the UK and internationally.

With increasing demand for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) consulting, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Business Development Manager to join their sales and business development team. This role supports their continued growth by delivering further solutions to existing private equity clients and their portfolio companies.

In this dynamic role, you will focus on selling an ESG consultancy solution to mid-market private equity clients, addressing their unique needs at every stage of the investment cycle. By collaborating with ESG consultants, you’ll play a key role in delivering tailored ESG solutions, from due diligence through ongoing portfolio support. Your success will be measured by new project wins, client satisfaction, and the expansion of the consulting footprint within each account.

We’re looking for a motivated individual with a strong commercial background in account management and net new revenue development, crucially within the private equity sector. A successful candidate will bring a proven track record of revenue growth and relationship building, particularly with senior stakeholders such as Board Members, Investment Directors and Portfolio Managers as well as ESG specialists. An understanding of ESG / GRC principles is ideal, as is the ability to build and expand a network within the private equity sector.

On offer is a competitive salary and bonus structure, along with private medical insurance, a pension plan, and life assurance benefits. With a flexible hybrid working arrangement, this position is based in London or Surrey offices, with at least three days per week in the office.
