Business Marketing Manager - London/Remote

Expedia UK is looking for a Business Marketing Manager to build the strategy and drive forward the editorial & content initiatives including but not limited to editorial, SEO & product content strategy, media entertainment partnerships and social content approach; As the Senior Manager, Business Marketing lead for our Editorial & Content studio, you will define the strategic plan for the team, the opportunities we prioritize, how those projects are briefed and how we measure the impact.? You are the key strategic lead that underpins all our critical editorial, content & entertainment work across brands and teams. You bring a customer-centric approach and deep-expertise to tackle the most complex business challenges/opportunities and provide that POV regularly with executive (VP+) leadership. This role is based in our London office.

- You would collaborate with brand integrations, brand planning, comms planning, creatives and internal teams to build the strategic foundations for initiatives, ideas and projects across editorial, content and media entertainment partnerships including but not limited to editorial brand & partnership extensions, SEO content optimization, content at scale production, in app content, content series;

- Develop the business marketing briefs for all core cross-brand projects including the key objective, goals, audience, deliverables, KPIs, cross-functional needs, competitive landscape, any campaign requirements (markets, messaging, partnerships, offers, etc.); Establish strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership across marketing, partnerships, SEO/SEM, product and other internal teams to deliver on our initiatives; Responsible for delivery of quarterly briefs

Essential:

  • Business Marketing Management
  • SEO and product content strategy
  • Content orientated Marketer with a strong strategy acumen;
  • Brief writing master able to distill ambiguous context into clear, compelling opportunities;
  • Collaborative partner able to lead and influence through unstructured asks and competing priorities
  • Extensive Marketing Strategy experience with a focus on content creative, editorial and media entertainment;
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline, or equivalent
  • Extensive background in editorial & content and related studio models
  • Previous Travel sector experience, a benefit
