Overview

The Senior Manager (P2P) will be responsible for overseeing a range of strategic transformation projects with a primary focus on technology implementation within the P2P process for a global media organisation. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a transformation mindset who thrives in a global, matrixed environment.

The Senior Manager will manage full project lifecycles, engage with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and ensure the successful delivery of scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions. A key part of the role will involve analysing current "As-Is" processes, identifying inefficiencies, and designing future-state solutions that support the organisation's goals to globalise, centralise, and standardise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead transformation and technology-driven projects within the P2P space
  • Conduct process mapping and data analysis to identify obstacles and improvement areas
  • Design future-state processes in line with compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of AP processes and propose improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, work plans, budgets, and milestones
  • Gather end-to-end requirements and develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
  • Drive change and influence across a decentralised and matrixed business structure
  • Ensure smooth implementation of process changes with minimal operational disruption
  • Develop SOPs and visual workflows to guide process adoption
  • Train and support internal teams on newly implemented processes and best practices

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in P2P transformation, process improvement, or project roles
  • Strong technical understanding of P2P and accounting/internal controls
  • Deep familiarity with SAP and broader P2P tech ecosystems (e.g., S/4HANA, vendor tools)
  • Demonstrated success in process re-engineering and technology implementations
  • Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, review data, and recommend improvements
  • Proficient in writing process documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of management
  • Experience influencing in complex matrix organisations
  • Indirect team management experience
  • Focus on P2P transformation, S4 implementation, and process improvement in the Accounts Payable space
  • Emphasis on transformational experience, not just operational tasks
  • Entertainment sector experience and S4 implementation knowledge are highly desirable
  • Strong emphasis on process documentation, compliance, and operational efficiency
