Senior Marketing Manager - Large Scale Events

My client provides business executives from around the world with access to tailored conferences, large scale events, virtual events and digital content keeping them up-to-date with industry trends, producing an unrivalled portfolio of market leading "must attend" events in every industry. As part of growth plans a new role has arisen for a B2B Marketer to work on their largest events.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will have complete bottom-line responsibility for creating and executing innovative, international marketing plans deploying online and offline direct marketing initiatives.
Specifically, the role involves:
- Formulating and executing targeted marketing strategies for your portfolio of international events
- Forging mutually beneficial marketing partnerships with associations and publications
- Utilitising a full range of online marketing tactics, including social media, SEO and PPC
- Nurturing customers up the advocacy ladder by engaging them with tailored marketing copy
- Preparing all promotional copy and collateral
- Establishing close working relationships with our exhibitor clients
- Working closely with other internal departments to achieve project objectives
- Hitting agreed targets for direct revenue generation and lead generation whilst closely managing the event marketing budget
- Establishing effective working relationships with speakers and sponsors to gain their buy in to promote our events through podcasts, webinars and webcasts
Desired skills and Experience
· Educated to degree level- ideally within marketing or communications
- 2+ years’ marketing experience preferred, ideally gained within B2B publishing, conferences, events, exhibitions or a membership organisation
- Experience with digital marketing (SEO & SEM, social media etc.)
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Commercial mindset - Experience in managing budgets and ROI for maximum profit gain
- Keen for new experiences, responsibility and accountability
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Is a creative problem-solver, detail focused and analytically inclined
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Self-driven, results-oriented, with a positive outlook
