Award winning, independent media events business seeks a highly talented Sponsorship focused Senior Marketing Manager to join their team.

This is a key opportunity for an ambitious marketing professional with a strong grasp of marketing fundamentals, lead generation and digital marketing to stretch their entrepreneurial and leadership side.

Candidates need to be hands-on, enthusiastic, ambitious, adaptable, and quick-thinking, with a strong work ethic. This role will work across several fast-scaling events, and will build out both an ABM and wider strategy for key partnership segments.

In this fast-paced environment, strong interpersonal skills, a positive and proactive attitude is a must. Along with a background in copywriting, digital marketing, and social media engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Response Analysis & Strategy Formulation
  • Lead Generation: Building and researching a relevant lead database through partnerships and sourcing; creating dynamic campaigns to attract and begin conversations with potential members and clients.
  • Lead Conversion: work with the sponsorship team on nurturing campaigns that will warm and convert leads down the funnel
  • Event Budget Management: Creating a budget for the partnership marketing campaign, with clear ROI expectations from the spend.
  • Stakeholder & Media Partnership Management: Continually source and maintain positive relations with partners for innovative ways to increase measurable value for the business.
  • Site management / SEO/PPC & SEM: Create engaging sponsorship marketing messaging and materials, to improve inbound traffic to the sponsorship pages, alongside creating, monitoring and optimizing PPC campaigns.
  • Database Management: Utilise CRM (Salesforce and Hubspot) to generate list build strategies and for reporting. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Strong background in b2b digital marketing, ideally exhibition and conference led
  • Ability to write engaging, customer-centric marketing copy across several industries
  • Highly organized, methodical, and process-driven
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Expert in successful negotiation tactics with senior media individuals
  • Track record of delivering campaigns/ projects to deadline and budget
  • Results-driven – focused on achieving growth plans, with a solutions-focused approach to getting there
  • Confidence in Marketing strategy, growth planning and multi-channel execution
