We're partnering with a Leading Wine Business, on the hunt for a Senior National Account Manager to support the Head of Grocery on delivering long term business plans for a portfolio of accounts and customers, the focus being on Tesco The company are on a solid growth trajectory and are renowned in the industry for their diverse, premium portfolio and instantly recognisable brands that have won a plethora of awards. In addition to this, they’re a registered B Corp and always put people > profit! You'll hold P&L responsibility for Tesco plus work closely with the Controller to achieve key business objectives.Strong track record of retention and promotions through the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing a long term growth business plan for Tesco
  • Driving distribution, availability, visibility and promotion plans within the channel
  • Working closely with the existing sales team to achieve key business objectives
  • Conducting sales / financial analysis and implementing changes to help improvement
  • Be a brand advocate and positively promote the business at all opportunities including buyer meetings, events and roadshows.
  • Collaborating cross functionally with Marketing to ensure relevant promotional initiatives are being communicated to clients
  • Coaching and mentorship of a National Account Executive

Their next hire:

  • Must have FMCG account experience – ideally with Tesco – all Grocers considered
  • Confident representing a branded portfolio and articulating the USPS against competitors
  • An engaging individual, able to build strong relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong influential and negotiation skills – results orientated
