In this exciting role, you play a vital part in leading the client’s new business outreach, whilst supporting the Head of Commercial in achieving the annual targets.

THE COMPANY

THE ROLE

As Senior Partnerships Manager, you will take the lead on identifying, cultivating and securing new, high-value partnerships, helping the organisation to meet their ambitious targets. This sits in a great team that are equal parts friendly and driven.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review and build on the current new business strategy for commercial brand partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for prospective high-value partnerships and work to cultivate and secure these.
  • Prepare strong tailored proposals aligning with the company strategy.
  • Approach the new business initiative with a proactive commercial mindset, ensuring a high volume of approaches to support the annual targets.
  • Research of marketplace for sponsorship, both competitive and business development, identifying new potential partnerships.
  • Work closely with the Events team and Commercial Director to cultivate New Business event strategy.
  • Develop successful working relationships with your direct reports and encourage the development of their skills and talents.
  • Work effectively with data sources, contacts, Senior Volunteers, Trustees, and colleagues to identify changes in business landscape, risks, and opportunities.

THE PERSON

To be successful in this role, you will need an established record in delivering lucrative new business partnerships against significant annual targets.

It is vital that any applicant has a good understanding of the marketing mix, including working with digital assets and ability to work with metrics within sponsorship proposals and packages.

As a sales-oriented role, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to identify and meet customer needs, using creativity and problem solving where necessary.

Lastly, this is a collaborative role so being proactive and team-spirited will be highly beneficial.
