Role Overview: As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business and achieving revenue targets by selling our innovative platform to banks, commercial lenders, and financial institutions. You’ll work closely with senior decision-makers, understanding their challenges, and demonstrating how our platform can transform their lending operations and enhance financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and target high-value prospects within the UK’s large banking and commercial lending markets, driving new customer acquisition and building strategic relationships.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a focused sales strategy tailored to large financial institutions, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
- Consultative Selling: Engage with C-suite executives, heads of lending, and other key stakeholders to understand their pain points and position our platform as the optimal solution.
- Product Demos: Lead tailored demonstrations of our financial data analytics platform, highlighting its relevance to the unique needs of large banks and commercial lenders.
- Market Insights: Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics within the financial services industry to identify opportunities for product differentiation and market expansion.
- Collaboration: Partner with the Managing Director, marketing, and product teams to refine messaging, drive product enhancements, and optimise client onboarding processes.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a robust pipeline of high-value prospects through the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and contract closure.
- Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance metrics, and insights on market dynamics to senior leadership.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven Sales Experience: 5+ years of B2BSaaS sales experience, with a strong focus on selling to large banks, commercial lenders, or within the financial technology sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the commercial lending markets, with established relationships in the UK financial services sector being a significant advantage.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers, uncover client needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Track Record of Success: Consistent achievement of sales targets, with a history of securing high-value, long-term clients.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with SaaS platforms, CRM tools, and data-driven sales methodologies.
- Self-Motivated: A proactive, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can work independently with minimal supervision.
