Senior Sales Manager (Wholesale & Distribution Focus)
A senior-level sales leadership opportunity focused on driving growth within wholesale and distribution channels. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, building strong client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in sales management, a deep understanding of the wholesale and distribution landscape, and a results-driven mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Sales Leadership:

Design and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives.
2. Team Management & Development:

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture through coaching and ongoing development.
3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale and distribution partners.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and drive mutual growth.

Oversee channel-specific activation plans and ensure effective execution.
4. Performance & Target Delivery:

Set, monitor, and drive achievement of sales targets across key accounts and independent channels.

Implement sales forecasting and planning processes to optimize performance.

Ensure alignment across business units to deliver agreed-upon volumes and strategic objectives.
5. Market & Data Insights:

Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.

Leverage data insights to refine sales strategies and prioritize resources effectively.
6. Commercial & Contractual Management:

Lead contract negotiations with wholesale and distribution partners to secure favourable terms.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations while managing disputes and resolving issues efficiently.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Essential:

Significant experience in a senior sales leadership role within wholesale and/or distribution channels.

Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and deliver on revenue targets.

Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing sales teams.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of successful client engagement.

Analytical and strategic thinker, capable of using market insights to drive decisions.
Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
