The Opportunity:Nigel Wright Group has been appointed to support a key repeat client with the search for a specification sales manager to focus on the London market.  The company is an established market leader in the manufacture and supply of bonded laminate panels that are used in doors, kitchens, hotels, furniture, offices etc and has plans to drive strong growth and market share in the coming years.Role Profile:
  • Maintaining existing and building new relationships with architects, specifiers and interior designers to create the platform for ongoing specification of the company's products.
  • Following up on sample requests and taking prospects through the pre-sales journey.
  • Undertaking business development activities and driving events such as CPD workshops and lunch and learns for industry contacts.
  • Operating in a predominantly field based remit with circa 80% of time customer and market facing.
  • Effective pipeline and forecast reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.
Person Specification:
  • Specification sales experience in the building products sector, ideally KBB.
  • Strong experience of working closely with architects, specifiers and interior designers.
  • London based.
