Reymas Group is recruiting for a Specification Sales Manager for one of our Waterproofing/Roofing Group Clients. The role is a newly created position, responsible for developing specification opportunities and developing contractor relationships within the Roofing Sector Region: North London, Essex, East Anglia Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 OTE: £90,000 - £95,000Benefits: Car/Allowance, Pension, Healthcare  Overview Our Client is looking for a dynamic sales professional to develop key relationships with leading roofing contractors and specifiers to promote their range of Waterproofing Solutions and generate sustainable specification and project opportunities through existing and new client base.   Key Responsibilities  
  • To seek and create new business by developing a clear understanding of market sector opportunity in your area and region and prioritising specifying clients within these sectors.
  • To identify new clients and work to develop a strategy to seek out and maximise opportunities including arranging and / or delivering CPD seminars.
  • To maintain regular and effective liaison with existing clients in order to understand their needs, drivers and strive to exceed expectations.
  • Maximise business opportunity through specification sales and networking/relationship development
Experience & Skills Required The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
  • Experience of working in the Construction Industry, selling via Specification is a key. Strong knowledge of Flat Roofing/Waterproofing Products is required however If you have relevant experienced gained in other sectors incorporating Building Envelope/ Building Products then that would similarly be of interest.
  • Specification sales experience.
  • Dynamic relationship builder and very driven.
  • Proactive and ability to work successfully using your own initiative and approach.
  • Experience in a specification sales related environment or similar where relationship management is paramount.
  • Experience of maintaining and developing customer and contractor relationships
