Quest Search & Selection are currently partnering with a scale-up tech eCommerce app, providing both a DTC and B2B platform.

With scale up growth planned for this business in the UK, this founder led, global business is looking for a Chief of Staff level to be able to helicopter over all areas of the business (operations, commercial and growth).

They will focus of leading a team, Overseeing a P&L and be able to produce financial modelling & analysis.

Key responsibilities of this role Chief of Staff:

  • Lead or oversee high-priority, complex, varied projects across Data from start to finish.
  • Dive deep into underperforming metrics, working closely with teams across the business to establish corrective action plans.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment by actively engaging with cross-functional teams, encouraging knowledge sharing, and facilitating communication to drive successful outcomes aligned with business goals.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement, enhancing processes to boost operational efficiency, meet deadlines, and ensure initiatives are executed effectively.
  • Partner closely with key stakeholders in the UK & US preparing them for meetings and helping to optimise their time management.

Key requirements of Chief of Staff:

  • Ideal candidate in a COS, Revenue Ops, Finance Consulting or Banking background looking to succeed in a scale up operation.
  • That you have led a P&L and driven the commercials of a business unit.
  • Excel at solving complex problems and making decisions in a results-focused environment, even amid high ambiguity.
  • You must have led a team and can show high energy and intensity for business-critical decision making.
  • Strong analytical skills - you must have financial modelling experience.
  • You must also have advance excel skills.
  • Comfortable influencing without authority and exceptional at building relationships with people across the business to get things done.
  • A doer who is extremely organised and diligent
  • Self-starter, curious, and quick to learn, knowing what questions to ask to get up to speed quickly
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to grow the business for commercial success
