Our client, a leading global commodities trading company, is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the creation of a new entity. This role will drive change management, ensure effective communication, and provide project management support for strategic initiatives. Working closely with senior leadership, the ideal candidate will lead transformative projects, engage stakeholders, and enhance operational efficiency to support the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and senior leadership to develop and execute strategic goals.
- Manage the CSO's time, filter information, and prioritize meetings and requests.
- Lead key strategic projects, ensuring successful and timely delivery.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth coordination and alignment across departments.
- Act as an advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and managing company-wide initiatives.
Skillset and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chief of Staff in a highly regulated environment, with a strong background in a top-tier management consultancy (McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, or Bain & Company).
- Demonstrated success in driving transformation, managing complex projects, and leading change initiatives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at senior levels.
- Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on strategic problem-solving.
- High level of professionalism and discretion, with experience handling confidential information and managing stakeholder relationships.
