Job Description
Main Objectives/Job Summary:
- Primary point of contact for communication between the borrower and the syndicate for the assigned portfolio
- Monitoring project documentation on behalf of the Syndicate and ensuring covenant compliance is received and distributed on time
- Ensuring receipt and safe keeping of all relevant transaction documentation
- Handle and coordinate waivers as well as consent requests
- Assist in closing new deals and secondary trades as well as coordinating decision making within the Syndicate
- Approve payments, drawdowns and distributions
- Communicate & distribute information to relevant parties
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaising with borrowers, advisors, and syndicate banks as well as with internal departments, draft correspondence and arrange conference calls and meetings.
- Handling waiver and consents requests
- Set up new transactions (compliance diary, transaction summary, account mandates)
- Review documentation
- Ensuring on new transactions all CPs are met and monitor receipt of CSs post close
- Ensuring receipt and safe keeping of all transaction documentation
- Monitoring and updating the covenant compliance diary in accordance with the facility documentation
- Ensure all covenant compliance and reporting is received on time, reviewed, distributed, and flagged for further attention as required
- Review and approve requests for payments drawdowns & distributions in line with documentation, financial models and budgets
- Monitoring of project accounts and ensure distribution of statements
- Provide monthly reports on progress of the portfolio
Key Skills and Experience required:
- Bachelors degree and/or equivalent level of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in handling Agency mandates and syndicated transactions containing various borrowers, lenders, stakeholders
- Experience in coordinating distressed assets and restructurings appreciated
- Solid understanding of Project Finance
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills in a multi-cultural and multi-language environment
- Flexible team player with very efficient time management and ability to coordinate larger groups of stakeholders
- Diligence and accuracy
- PC literacy (Advanced MS-Office know-how, Debtdomain and inhouse applications where required in the workflow)
- Business fluent in English, any other European language especially German would be appreciated
