Our client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a 6-month maternity cover contract in London. Salary: from 100,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm with some out of hours


About the Role:
As the Team COO, you will provide essential support to the Global Liquidity Management (GLM) Team, overseeing daily liquidity management processes and managing cross-functional global projects. You will work closely with senior leaders across various locations, including London, Paris, Dublin, New York, and Charlotte.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional, global projects that ensure regulatory compliance and internal governance.
  • Track and manage the team's overall book of work, updating project plans and prioritising tasks.
  • Prepare engaging materials for presentations to management and stakeholders.
  • Support the annual documentation process.
  • Produce key liquidity dashboards and forecasts to inform funding and liquidity decisions.
  • Monitor liquidity risks associated with the organisation's business activities.

About You:
We are looking for a proactive and energetic individual who embodies the following qualities:

  • Previous experience in a COO capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management skills with a knack for meeting SLAs and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a keen intellectual curiosity.
  • Basic understanding of investment banking products is a plus.
