Overview of Contact Supervisor:
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within London Borough of Harrow for a self-driven and motivated Contact Supervisor to join an expanding team. The role of the Contact Supervisor has a competitive pay rate of 17.66 per hour. Other benefits include excellent training and support for career development and 21 days of holiday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Primary Responsibilities of the Contact Supervisor:
  • Supervise interactions between children and their parents and siblings, as needed.
  • Safely transport children between their homes or placements.
  • Ensure that supervised contact sessions are documented and conducted in the best interests of the children, typically those under Child Protection plans or in the care of the Local Authority.

Requirements for the Successful Candidate:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a social care setting, either paid or volunteer, with a proven history of direct work with children and families.
  • Completed relevant training related to children and families, holding a child care qualification (e.g., GNVQ or NNEB) or equivalent, and possessing experience working with children and families.
  • Willingness to engage in further specialized training and professional development to acquire the necessary skills, knowledge, and expertise for the role.
  • Availability to work unsocial hours regularly to meet service requirements.
