Early Years Team Leader - Independent Nursery, North London

Role Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 6:00pm)

Set Holidays: 9 work days at Christmas, 4 work days at Easter, 10 work days at the end of August, and all bank holidays

Start Date: September 2024 (Nov 2024 latest)

Salary: Up to £35,000.00 (dependent on qualification and previous experience)

As a Joint Early Years Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to join a long-standing, dynamic, and experienced team. Your responsibilities, alongside the existing Team Leader, will include:

  • Day-to-day responsibility of the class
  • Planning rich, creative, engaging, and stimulating activities that meet the developmental stages of the children and encourage them to reach their full potential
  • Preparing and evaluating activities using the EYFS curriculum
  • Supervising and leading activities, planning for key children from observations, next steps, magic moments, and parental input
  • Completing observations and online learning journals to a high standard
  • Conducting Two Year Progress Checks and meeting with parents to discuss them as needed
  • Identifying children who may need extra support or an extension of their learning
