Our client, a dynamic early childhood education centre, is seeking a passionate German speaking Nursery Assistant to join their team, dedicated to providing a bilingual environment for young children (ages 2-4). Your responsibilities will include:
- Look after and supervise children throughout the day
- Supervise nap times and meal times to ensure a safe and calm environment
- Assist with getting children dressed and ready for the day
- Engage in play activities with children to support their development and learning
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised environment
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
About you:The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their development and well-being. You must be a fluent German speaker and interested in using it daily in the workplace. No previous childcare experience or qualifications needed. The client can be flexible whether you would like permanent contract of more short-term/temp work, so do not hesitate to reach out if you are interested. Profile:
- Excellent German and English, written and spoken
- Genuine interest in working with children, as an early years assistant, nursery assistant, childcare worker or pre-school assistant.
- No previous childcare experience or qualifications needed
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
