Hours Required: Term Time - Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm (c33 weeks per year), School holidays - Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm (c19 weeks per year)
Driver: Prefer driver, though not essential. Car can be provided for use on duty and parking permit available for own car if required
Summary:
A lovely family that live within walking distance of Wimbledon village and the Common are looking for an experienced Housekeeper Nanny where you will oversee the smooth running of the home and the sole charge care of the children.
The ideal candidate will enjoy being around the children, be approachable as well as having a warm and personable manner. You will be organised able to take initiative to make good use of time and live within a reasonable commute of the home.
- Complete care and cleaning of the home
- Laundry and ironing for the family
- Washing and changing bedding
- Some cooking (e.g. some weekday evening meals) and baking - where time allows
- Running errands (e.g. dry cleaner, food shopping, ad hoc shopping for household or family)
- Overseeing deliveries / providing access to tradesman / gardeners.
- Sole charge care of the children
- Collecting the children from school bus stop or from school
- Preparing afternoon snack for children
- Overseeing homework, piano practice, shower time and preparation of clothes and bags for next day at school
- During school holidays taking the children to activities, including sports activities / clubs and playdates
- During school holidays taking the children on excursions in the village (e.g. out on the Common) or into London
- Preparing for special occasions such as children's birthday parties
