The Role:

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of young children in Nursery. Your responsibilities will include:

? Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities? Providing 1:1 and small group support to help children develop confidence and key skills? Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment? Supporting phonics, early literacy and numeracy development? Helping with classroom preparation and ensuring resources are available? Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents to support children's individual needs

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

? Previous experience in Early Years or Key Stage 1? GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)? A flexible and proactive attitude? Great communication skills, patience and understanding? A passion for supporting early childhood development
