About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join a friendly and supportive nursery in Lambeth. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the daily care and development of children, ensuring their safety and well-being

  • Assisting with activities that promote early learning, social skills, and creativity

  • Supporting children with personal care, including feeding and hygiene routines

  • Helping to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction among children

  • Working closely with colleagues and parents to ensure a nurturing learning experience

Requirements
  • Previous experience working with young children (desirable but not essential)

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (preferred)

  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
