About the Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. You will support their learning and development through engaging activities while ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the daily care, supervision, and education of children

  • Planning and engaging children in fun, age-appropriate activities

  • Supporting children's emotional, social, and physical development

  • Ensuring the nursery is a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

  • Helping with feeding, changing, and nap times

  • Observing and recording children’s progress to share with parents and senior staff

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with children in a nursery, school, or childcare setting (desirable but not essential)

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or willingness to work towards one)

  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
