Nursery Assistant

• Salary: £13.50-£15.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• Location: Waltham Forest, East London.
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for helping children learn through play, supporting their development, and ensuring they feel safe and engaged in a well-structured nursery setting.

• Assist in planning and delivering engaging EYFS activities that promote early childhood development.
• Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play-based learning.
• Work 1:1 and in small groups, ensuring each child receives tailored support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and staff to ensure each child's needs are met.

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with young children.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood development.
