This lovely school takes pride in offering high-quality education, and is now looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistant to work within their Nursery Class, alongside children aged 3 to 5 years.
Role Overview:As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of young children, ensuring they receive the best possible start to their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and Delivering Child-Led Activities: Create engaging, fun, and educational activities tailored to the needs, interests, and developmental stages of each child.
- Monitoring and Supporting Development: Conduct observations and assessments to track progress, identify developmental goals, and support each child's growth.
- Providing a Safe and Stimulating Environment: Ensure the nursery is a secure, inclusive, and stimulating space where children feel encouraged to explore and learn through play.
- Building Relationships with Parents: Maintain open and supportive communication with parents, sharing regular updates on their child's progress and well-being.
- Maintaining Nursery Standards: Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization in the nursery, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
We are seeking a dedicated individual with the following qualities and skills:
- Experience in Early Years: Previous experience working with young children in an educational or nursery setting is essential.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): A good understanding of the EYFS framework and how to implement it effectively.
- Team Player: You are flexible, adaptable, and ready to collaborate with colleagues in a supportive team environment.
- Passionate About Early Childhood Development: You have a genuine passion for working with children and are committed to providing them with the best possible start in life.
