Nursery Nurse/ Nursery Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a permanent Nursery Nurse/ Nursery Assistant to join our friendly team and will provide opportunity to work either all year round or term time and excellent further training and career progression opportunities.

Starting salary: 25,000-32,000pa + option to work either all year round or Term time only ( 12 weeks paid holidays) excellent further training, career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential from UK or overseas for example NVQ, BTEC, CACHE Leveldiploma level 2 or 3 in childcare and early years education or BA in Early Childhood Studies from Uk or overseas university. Or Montessori Teaching Qualification.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, while maintaining a structured yet flexible environment.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support each child's individual needs.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents and the team.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive atmosphere that encourages children's exploration and creativity.
