Role Overview:
As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the nursery class, helping to create a stimulating and safe learning environment for the children. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a CACHE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent, such as Early Years Workforce qualification), especially those with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and experience in personal care tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the nursery teacher in planning and delivering engaging educational activities.
- Provide tailored support for children with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Create a warm, inclusive, and safe environment for all children.
- Support children with personal care routines and contribute to their well-being.
- Maintain records of children's progress and behavioral observations.
Ideal Candidate:
- CACHE Level 3 qualification or Early Years Workforce qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in early years settings.
- Strong passion for supporting children with SEN.
- Upbeat, personable, and able to build quick rapport with children, staff, and parents.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- A caring and positive approach to children's development and well-being.
