The Role - Nursery Nurse
We are looking for an experienced Nursery Nurse to join a high achieving Primary School based in Hackney. For this Nursery Nurse position you will have at least 1 years experience working with young children within a nursery or primary school setting and have a strong understanding of working with young children from the ages of 3 months to 5 years.
Duties include:
- To comply with all nursery policy and procedures
- To work closely with the Room leader planning stimulating age appropriate activities
- To develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and external childcare professionals
- To ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe and inviting to parents and children
- To attend monthly staff meetings, parent's evenings, nursery outings and further training as required
- Plan and supervise activities
- Can work under pressure and remain calm in stressful situations
- Feed and change babies throughout the day
- Partake in school outings and trips
- Observe children and write reports
