A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our Client based in Leytonstone, East London. This fantastic setting is extremely focused on the educational, physical, social development and communication of the children in their care. They are looking for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to support them with this.

Main Responsibilities;

  • Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS
  • Be able to implement the EYFS in to planning activities
  • Supporting the deputy Manager and Manager
  • To help ensure that machinery is in good working order and to take appropriate steps to instruct repair or maintenance of any machinery that requires it, by way of reporting to managers
  • Having an overview of the Room all times whilst on duty and the Nursery is in operation and relaying any concerns immediately to the Nursery Manager,
  • Build strong relationships with the team, the children and parents/carers
  • To understand the importance of assessment, and ensure all children receive the statutory progress checks required.
  • To maintain records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers and other professionals.
  • To be involved in out of working hours’ activities, e.g. training, staff meetings, etc
