We are seeking two dedicated Residential Childcare Workers to join our team at a childrenā€™s home based in Ealing, W5. This role involves shift work, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and bank holidays. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide care and support to children and young people in the residential home, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
  • Engage children in activities that encourage their social, intellectual, and emotional development.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for the children.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Document and report on childrenā€™s progress and any incidents that occur, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding procedures.
  • Support children in their daily routines and help them develop life skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in childcare or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong commitment to the care and well-being of children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and bank holidays.
