Job Scope:

We are seeking a Children Registered Manager to lead and manage a brand-new 4-bed home in a London area. As the Children Registered Manager, you will play a key role in setting up and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Ofsted-registered home, providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young people aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioral difficulties. Your responsibilities will include ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations, managing budgets, and leading a dedicated team of Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers. You'll ensure the team is motivated and providing the highest standards of care.

In this role, the Children Registered Manager will also monitor KPIs, implement quality assurance practices, and ensure systems like ClearCare are used effectively. Liaising with external agencies, you'll safeguard the young people in your care while building professional relationships. Additionally, you will share an on-call rota with other Children Registered Managers in the region, providing support as needed. This is a unique opportunity to grow within an expanding service, with plans to open more homes in the future.

Do you have?

  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children & Young People's Services (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years at a supervisory level within an Ofsted-registered childrens home.
  • Proven ability to meet Ofsted's fit requirements for the role.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, with practical application experience.
  • A valid driving license.
