Our client is seeking a dedicated Nursery Manger to provide leadership and management, ensuring the highest standard of care andeducation. This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day operations and promoting an environment that fosters physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development for children.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the daily operations to ensure the health and safety of the children, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements, ensuring all children receive stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Manage staff, ensuring they are supported, trained, and appraised to deliver high-quality childcare practices.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with local authority departments, regulatory bodies, and other agencies.
- Manage nursery finances, including staff costs and budgets, and produce management information as required.
- Facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement recommendations.
- Promote the nursery within the local community to enhance enrollment and participation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a busy nursery setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with staff and parents to enhance the educational environment.
