Nursery Manager – £48,000 - £56,000 depending on experience – Parsons Green, London
The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 74-place nursery, providing high-quality care and education for children aged three months to five years. You will lead a team of early years professionals, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
This role includes managing curriculum planning, staff development, safeguarding, and compliance while building strong relationships with families and the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team to deliver outstanding early years education in line with EYFS guidelines.
- Ensure the nursery meets Ofsted regulations and maintains high-quality standards.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling and financial management.
- Develop positive relationships with parents, children, and the local community.
- Maintain high standards in safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance.
- Mentor and train staff to encourage professional development.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment tailored to children’s needs.

The Person
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above preferred).
- Has proven experience in nursery management or a senior leadership role.
- Has a strong understanding of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Is committed to providing high-quality early years education.
- Has experience in staff management, budgeting, and operational oversight.
