Beyond Education Recruitment are working to support a fantastic nursery in the Plumstead area who are recruiting for a very exciting and appealing role of Nursery Manager, term time only working 3 days per week from 9am-7pm or 9:30am-7pm.
Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained.
- Manage and support nursery staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding regulations within the nursery setting.
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development milestones, and any incidents that occur.
- Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community and promote enrolment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing a nursery or similar childcare setting.
- Level 3 or above childcare qualification
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
