Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the review and implementation of strategic parking policies
- Managing related charges, procurement, and contract management
- Overseeing the delivery of all parking-related schemes, including controlled parking zones (CPZ) and disabled parking provision
- Responsible for the delivery of electric vehicle charging points, cycle hangars, and dockless cycle parking
- Managing the team involved in drafting Traffic Management Orders (TMO)
- Collaborating with external organisations and internal teams to meet strategic objectives
Job Requirements:
- Experience in the development and implementation of parking policies and delivery programmes
- Proven track record in delivering parking and traffic management infrastructure projects
- Relevant professional qualification in traffic or parking policy and programmes or significant relevant experience
- Strong negotiation skills with external organisations and council services
- Understanding of local transport strategies and policies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
