We're looking for an Associate Civil Engineer in London or Derby.

The Company:
With a dozen UK offices and circa 500 staff, you will be joining a well-established development partner with an excellent industry reputation that specialises in the development consultancy market. They are seeking to double in headcount in the near future, hence, this role is due to growth.

They are a leading development partner, acting as a one-stop shop for multidisciplinary consulting advice on development projects, from planning and through design engineering and construction support.

The office is modern and appealing with a lively atmosphere in a central London location, easily accessible in a few minutes walk from Oxford Circus.

The Role:
As part of the development infrastructure team, you will offer consultancy advice that brings new developments to life, across a range of sectors, varying in size and complexity.

The Projects:
You will be exposed to a wide variety of projects across the renewable energy, education, leisure, retail, hotels, industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and producing civil infrastructure design packages for developments requiring highway, drainage, utility, and earthwork interventions.
  • Team leadership, resourcing and mentorship.
  • Project ownership and management.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders, architects, and engineers.
  • Client liaison.
  • Assist with Business Development.

Requirements:

  • Several years working knowledge of the above, attained through experience at a UK consultancy.
  • Knowledge of related software which may include AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Site3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, Causeway Flow.
