Are you looking to work alongside a fast-paced and supportive design team?I am recruiting for a Civil Design Engineer to join my client's team of 11 in central London. They are a multidisciplinary consultancy with around 200 employees worldwide.Benefits:

The ideal candidate will be motivated and have a genuine enthusiasm for engineering design and modelling. We are looking for an Engineer who has around 3 - 5 years of experience, either working towards Chartership or Chartered.Technical skills:

  • Civil design capability including levels, underground drainage, utilities, pavements and roads, flooding and earthworks.
  • Experience engaging with and achieving approvals from Building Control, environment agencies, planning departments, statutory undertakes and other relevant authorities.
  • Extensive experience with approval processes sewer connections and adoptions, and works in the public highway. Including detailed knowledge of UK-specific s104, s106, s278 applications.
  • Detailed knowledge of design codes, standards and regulations, including Eurocodes, British standards and building regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microdrainage/Civil 3D.
