Asanexperienceddrainageengineer,youwillberesponsiblefordesigningbelowgroundfoulandsurfacewaterdrainagesystemstoensuresafewaterorsewerageflowsformultipleprojects.

Thejobroleofthedrainageengineerinvolvesthefollowingmainduties:

Planningbelowgroundfoulandsurfacewaterdrainagesystemsusingcomputermodellingsoftware
Undertakingtechnicalbelowgrounddrainagedesignworks,i.e.belowgrounddrainagelayoutdrawings,belowgrounddrainagedetaildrawings,belowgrounddrainagespecificationdocumentation,etc.
Attendingprojectmeetings
Visitingsitestogainanunderstandingoftheproject
Liaisingwithotherteamsanddepartments
Liaisingwithotherexternaldesignteammembersonvariousprojects
Workingwithclientstoensurethattheirrequirementsarefulfilled,andexpectationsmet
Usingadvancedcomputermodellingtools,i.e.InfoDrainage,inthedesignofbelowgroundfoulandsurfacewaterdrainagesystems
Assessingtheenvironmentalimpactofproposedworks
Keepinguptodatewithchanginglegislationandcodesofpracticetoensurecompliance
Answeringtechnicalqueries,bothinternallyandexternallywithotherparties,etc.
Visitingthesiteduringconstruction(whererequired)tomakesuretheworksarecompletedtospecification
Undertakingdrainagestrategyreportsinordertosatisfyplanningconditionrequirementsonprojects
Liaisingandagreeingonpre-developmentenquiresandSection106agreementsonvariousprojects
LiaisingandagreeingwithSection106agreementsonvariousprojects
Abletoworkonmultipleprojectsinordertosatisfytheinternalprogrammerequirements
