About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a highly reputable electrical contractor based in Central London. With a group turnover exceeding £500 million, this company is an established market leader in the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems. Their projects range from £1M to over £100M, spanning commercial offices, data centres, education, government buildings, retail, residential infrastructure, and pharmaceutical laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate tenders for electrical projects ranging from £1M to £100M+.
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and related documents to determine scope of work and material requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering strategies.
• Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and pre-construction teams to gather accurate and relevant information.
• Review and assess supplier and subcontractor bids to secure competitive pricing.
• Maintain and update cost estimate databases and historical project data.
• Assist in preparing bids and proposals for new projects, ensuring adherence to client requirements and company standards.

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: Proven track record as an Electrical Estimator, with experience tendering electrical projects of varied scales.
• Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
o Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge: Thorough understanding of electrical systems and building services.
