About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Electrical Project Manager to join our team, managing electrical projects across London and the Home Counties. This permanent position offers a competitive salary, flexible working arrangements (with one day in the office per week), and an exciting opportunity to work on challenging and high-profile projects, particularly in hospital environments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing electrical projects within healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring smooth delivery of all phases of the project.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, while providing regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure the project meets specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
- Conduct site visits and inspections, particularly within hospital environments, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Liaise with clients and other parties to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and properly maintained.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, with a strong background in managing electrical projects in hospital or healthcare environments.
- A relevant electrical qualification (e.g., HND, Degree, or equivalent).
- Experience with managing large-scale electrical installations in healthcare settings, with a focus on compliance and safety.
- A thorough understanding of relevant electrical regulations, standards, and legislation.
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to problem-solve and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the London & Home Counties region.
