An exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in London, has presented itself. You'll be joining a team of geotechnical and geo-environmental specialists on a range of technically challenging projects around the South East. The position provides great opportunity to contribute to business development, develop skills and take on responsibilities.

The successful Geotechnical Engineer will receive:

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a variety of responsibilities. These include:

  • Liaising closely with clients, contributing to business development, contract managing, tendering and team development.
  • Carrying out Ground Investigations.
  • Factual and interpretive report writing.
  • Design of retaining walls, foundations and slope stability.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Ground movement assessments.

As a result, the Geotechnical Engineer will have previous experience in a similar role, with extensive knowledge in geo-environmental and geotechnical practices. You should have an industry relevant degree (for example geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science etc), ideally have or be working towards chartership, hold a full UK Driving Licence, have a full right to work in the UK and be commutable to the London area.
